Mission
Innovative approaches and solutions often start small and address challenges across a wide range of sectors and topics. To ensure that every sustainable idea or project has a better chance of success, the One Planet Lab «BookYourExpert» portal aims to provide vetted, tailored and convenient support when it is needed.
Our goal is to facilitate and accelerate positive environmental impact by enabling sustainable changemakers from the bottom-up.

Leads the Expert Portal project. Advocates for projects with a focus on sustainability and the circular economy, bringing together people, visions and implementation strategies for greater impact. Loves to unwind with family and friends in nature, mindful travel and culinary discoveries.
Patricia Matzdorf

Head of One Planet Lab German-speaking Switzerland
Coordinates the One Planet Lab activities for German-speaking Switzerland together with partner organisations and practitioners. She enjoys reading books and exploring the mountains. Patricia firmly believes that sustainability is an opportunity for innovation at all levels and that there are effective solutions for all.

Head of One Planet Lab Romandie
Coordinates One Planet Lab activities for French-speaking Switzerland together with partner organisations and practitioners. Loves to support and connect people who care about the planet. To recharge her batteries, she dances, does yoga or plays guitar. Ingrid lives by the water because it allows her to regularly immerse herself in it.

Junior Project Manager
Coordinates the processes on the Expert Portal, manages its experts and users and helps with communication. He is passionate about sustainability and enjoys to network. In his free time, he produces music and videos.

Intern in Innovation and Socio-economic change at WWF Switzerland
Supports the team as an intern with communication and helps out with web design. Loves his bikes and music of all kinds.
Project Milestones
2022 was our pilot year where we tested our MVP of the expert portal to validate the interest, need and use of such a portal. Great news: the results were positive, and we are going to keep going!
In 2023 we are shifting from an MVP tool to an actual platform solution. We will be using 2023 to test this new solution and grow our database of experts, users and partners to ensure a smooth transition and scaling.
